I have searched. But cannot seem to find anyone that has simply deleted the resonator and left the stock muffler on our 2500 6.4 trucks. Has anyone done it? If so pics, videos, sounds bites would be appreciated!

I didn't, but why would you? I've read the resonator is to damp the MDS drone.

A lot of people say the same. They have “heard” it does “this or that”. Im waiting to hear from someone who actually has real review info. But to answer your question, I want a slightly louder/different exhaust sound along with an exhaust tip. I’m hoping that replacing the resonator with a piece of pipe and tip will do this.

I ran a Solo Performance muffler delete for about 7 months with stock resonator. The drone was pretty bad and cold starts were obnoxious in my opinion. I reinstalled the factory muffler and removed the resonator to see how that sounded and to try to prevent a crushed tailpipe offroading. The drone was noticeable when MDS kicked in but horrific when MDS kicks in while coasting downhill. Put the resonator back on and may just cut the tip back to get it out of the way.
