Hello everyone.

As of recently i’ve noticed the truck starts VERY slowly and the crank is very weak. It still starts without issue, but the cranking is very slow.

Battery is new, around 4 months old.

Tested charging voltage and its charging fine at 14.4-5 volts. As soon as the engine is off independent of the time the voltage drops from 14 to 10.71.

I’m not sure how the truck manages to start on just 10 volts, but it does. Any ideas??

Either a dud battery or random battery draw from something staying on.

Could be a battery issue, but you will not know until you have it load tested.

The battery may have voltage but it still needs amperage to work properly. I know it's still under warranty but take the truck to your local auto parts store to test the battery. Most will check batteries for free and give you a printout of the results. If the battery is bad bring the printout to the dealer and get it changed

You should have 2 to 2.1 volts per cell. Anything less than 12 .5 volts is either badly discharged or a bad battery.
