I have recently purchased my 3rd ram. All are or were originally purchased for work trucks. All are also used to tow campers/boats/car trailers/etc.

My first is a 96 single cab, 6 cyl, manual. It has a camper shell off a much newer truck which required modifications to fit. Stock other than that.

Second is a 2015 ram 1500, 5.7 hemi crew cab 6'4 bed. It has an ARE commercial shell with ladder rack built in tool boxes. It also has load level bags on it.

The newest acquisition is a 2022 1500 classic with the 5.7 and the 5'7 bed. I'm currently trying to obtain a used camper shell for this one. I have located one off of a 2015 ram with the 5.7 bed. Anyone know if that would fit?

The '22 Classic is the same body as the 2015, to be certain both trucks should have 5 lug nuts on the the wheels.
The only major difference for putting a camper shell on a Gen4 truck is the shape of the cab, the Quad cab and Crew cab are slightly different but either one will fit the other one. A 5.7' bed only comes with a Crew cab. It's only the 6.4' bed trucks that could have either a Quad or Crew cab.

Here is my 2024 warlock classic with the ARE shell I had on my 11. It should fit

I had a ARE camper on my 13 SBRC and it moved perfectly to my 17 QC. The contour doesn't follow the back of the cab as well as the proper shell, but if you don't know you won't see it.
