According to the TV news I watched the recall will list the specific trucks in about a month. Way to early to say no recall. Try again toward the end of June.

If its 1.2 million trucks and ram builds 400,000 to 500,000 a year .then its going to be about every truck up to maybe very late 2016 production trucks I think.

Got it in the mail yesterday, it has to do with the occupant restraint control module.(ORC)
The repair FCA states and quote from a sentence of the paragraph is "To do this, your dealer will reprogram the ORC module with new software". The estimated repair time is one hour.

Got my notice yesterday, trucks going in on July 5th. It says one hour but when I called the dealer to make an appointment they said its been taking 3+ hours so they're getting me a loaner. Can't wait to see what that is...

Now I have to put the stock tune back on and take my Trinity/pillar mount out. I hate bringing my truck to the dealer.

forget this one for me as I JUST had the new PCM installed yesterday

I think he's saying he's not bringing his truck in for the recall because he has an unlocked PCM. I won't be bringing mine in either.

Nice. If my truck is on the list, I'm thinking my truck isn't going in as well. I don't trust the techs and the way they handle other people's vehicles. I'm all set.

Here's the safety recall notice for those who haven't received anything yet. Just got this in the mail. Now have to find some time to get to the dealership. I hate dealing with dealerships!

Had mine done on Wednesday. They told me it would take 3+ hours and they would get me a loaner. I get there and I'm told it will take no longer than 20 mins. I was driving away 30 mins later. I did take my Trinity out and returned it to stock but I don't think it was necessary. They're not really accessing the PCM, just the airbag module so you might be ok with an unlocked PCM.
