I loved my Haynes manual for my Dodge Dakota. Unfortunately they don't have one for my Ram 2500.

Has anyone bought one of the Ram Truck Service Information CD? If so, can you give me some info? Is it worth the $135? That seem steep. Will it give me step by step instructions on how to maintain my truck?

IMO, a quality manual is always a great investment. If you think about it, that cost is what, an hour-and-a-half at a good mechanic? Pretty easy to justify saving a couple of hours by using the manual.

My only gripe would be that it doesn't include the wiring diagrams.

True. The Haynes manual saved me a lot of money.

Do you have the DVD? Does it give maintenance intervals and step by step info on how to do maintenance like the Haynes manual?

I have the TechAuthority DVD and it sucks to use. So much so I wish I hadn't spent the money.

I have the manual on CD for two FCA vehicles and its mixed. Tough to use as there is no search and no one place for circuit diagrams. You have to use a PC with exploder, and every time microsoft updates either, there is a good chance they break the manual. Tech authority will send a revision out. The CD doesn't come close to the old PDF files or paper manuals. There is good descriptions and theory of operation in the most part, but no where as good or easy to use as the techauthority on line service information, the one that was free last year. Its expensive, but I'd suggest spending the $35 on a three day pass, take a look, and download what you want to keep.

I think I got my $125 worth out of the CDs, but the online info was not available at the time.
