This one is owned by a buddy of mine. He had 2 Chrysler 300H's. A hardtop and a Convertible parade car used by Hurst.

He traded the hard top for this 70 440 6bbl GTX. (Dodges had six packs, Plymouths 6 Barrels. Same setup).

Our club president brought his 69 6bbl Gtx out as well. He's had this car many years, since he got out of the service.

I knew it was a Chevy small block from the ramhorns and the heads. Guessed they had replaced a 6 cylinder with a less expensive v8 than building an AMC v8.

I am not that pristine on looking at stuff, unless I am right on top. Small block, you thinking 305/327/ 307 size???

I only know my Chevy sizes from having the 396 in my 67.

Was thinking probably a 350 or 400 crate engine where it looked fairly new.

Lots of sizes over the years. I've had a 265, 327 and a 350, in various cars.

Regardless I would almost commit a capital crime to be able to get a hold of one, LOL. as in the Chargers/Coronets. Just raw power and fun to drive.

U know, that is so right on cue, and sooooooooooooooooo true. What gets me is the PPL who wanna talk to my wife about the warranty on her Ford Truck that we sold when she died in 2016. They say she called and inquired, and I give them the phone number of the Cemetery, lmao.

70 R/T Coronet, think I can make out Hemi on the scoop. Beautiful Car.

Satellite Sebrings were the later coke bottle style B-bodies from 71 to 74 if i remember right

They were ok with the 318’s. Mom had a 72 Satellite wagon with 318 and a 75 Fury III wagon with 318.

I had one of these for a while in bronze color.

My oldest son hated it and was ashamed to ride in it.

Him and a friend went to a AAA baseball game one Friday night. He called me after the game for thwem needing a ride home. The wife and I took off in the Sebring. It had loud mufflers , jacked up some, and ET slotted mags, with wide ones on the rear.

We turned into the stadium, saw him and his friend standing there with other people.....Time to get him.

I dropped the trans into low, speeded up enough to make noise enough for most people to hear, pulled up right in front of him, and the wife opened up the door for them.

They didn't know what to do. They dropped their heads and dove into the car before anyone else saw them. I revved it up a few times in neutral before goosing it to take off. Every time we had to make a turn I would hit neutral and rev it up.

When we hit the main road I wound her out in first, just to make sure everyone heard.

For some reason, he never called me to come pick him up while I still had that car.

One time I bought a school bus from the county bus garage. I brought it home one night, parked it right where the flood lights would light it up, went in and told them I bought a new car to take them to school in.

The opened up the front too, ran out onto the porch, and almost started crying saying they would not ride in that bus anywhere. I told them I could get them and their friends that also weren't able to ride the bus to school.

They weren't going for that. I rode that rouse for almost a week.

I actually bought the bus for the engine and transmission for a truck I owned. lol

A buddy back in high school had a 73 Sebring with the 400,we put a set of 68 383 heads/intake manifold and the cam out of it,in his 400,and that thing was surprising,it'd beat up on alot of 440's back in high school
