Hello friends!
My ram has been sitting in my back yard with a tarp over it because the fuel pump went bad and obviously the truck refused to start. I fixed the fuel pump and condenser fan yesterday. The truck was finally able to move , I even took it on a ride to the gym and back (15miles) no problems. Today in the morning however, i waited a good 4-5 minutes while i let the truck to warm up. The first stop i encountered, i noticed the truck did not want to accelerate when i gave it gas. In a panic I turned my hazard lights on and turned the engine off/on. That seemed to fix the problem and i was able to head back home. I noticed the serpentine belt making a screech so I already have a new one coming in and also buying the tension bar because I was advised to change it.
What could have caused my truck to just stall like that ? Again , it has been sitting for a month but the truck worked fine yesterday. Any ideas and suggestions help , Thank you all!
