Well I going to be a little different, I have a line on a set of Hertz Millie 1600.2 for what I think is dirt cheap. So my Dyn MW150's might be up for sale after xmas has come and gone. FML and this addiction lol

Lol. I saw some HAT L1pros on DIYMA for $175. I blacked out then next thing I knew the guy was sending me a tracking #.

looks like there may be some OG L1s and sail panels for sale soon. Smh

Here's a cool plan. When you get your L1s you build two sets of sails, I buy one set from you?!?!
I am gonna wrap mine in black Alcantara suede to match my center console and headrests. So they would not need paint or texture.

The pro is only .08" bigger so idunno if I need to rebuild sails or not. Either way, I'll build u a set of u want. I got dem black ones. Didn't want to jock you too hard. Lol

Thanks, lol! Do the OG ones have that threaded ring for mounting them? IIRC they have 3 screws from the front?

Ur right, they aren't very pretty. Sound pretty damn amazing though...

I am gonna try and make mine work with that ring on the exterior. I know it's not the way it was intended, but it looks nice.

BTW, if you guys need Alcantara suede in small pieces for your sails (1 sq.ft.) let me know. I can get it at $8. I will be placing an order next week...

FYI, that microfiber suede fabric has that brushed look (which I don't like on highly visible parts in the cab). The Alcantara looks and feels like real suede leather, it's very high-end.

Ok so I got the HAT L3v2's in over lunch and HOLY !W#$$%#@!$%^ the stage is wider than the windshield and blends so effortlessly with my Dyn's. BTW this is just with my tweeter xover's that I set before no special EQ has been done for these as of yet.
David IDK how they compare to the Hertz mids but man you can almost run these without a tweeter they are that good sounding.
Oh lastly big thanks to BlkRamRt these speakers he sold are seriously some of the best "used" equipment I have ever seen, the word flawless comes to mind.

No problem. Hardest thing for me was to send them to you....LOL. They get better after tuning and setting all the x over points and all that good stuff. I think after Xmas and before tax season I am going to start from scratch again. I honestly miss having a good quality system in my truck.
