Cool.

These are just hypothetical questions:

1. Can I run a third 12" sub off the same amp?

2. Can I run a single 12" BM on that amp?

you can run any amount of speakers off of that amp as long as you don't drop belove 1 ohm when wiring.
Here is a site that I use for quick wiring calcuations.
Rockford Fosgate® - RFTECH Support
Just be very light with the gains if you wire the BM to 2ohms

Fun little project I am going to try out, I just bought some Fountek FE83 3" drivers and I am going to try for a tweeterless setup to see how it sounds. I'm not expecting anything amazing as these little guys are on sale at PE for a whole whopping $6.90 but I have always been curious about trying this while they fire into a windshield.

Maybe comparing apples to oranges but since my DSP has been gone, I haven't been running tweeters. Just the L3s firing into the windshield with no EQ applied. I think it can be done, depending on your preference. Naturally, some of the top end detail is gone but for me, I think the 3"s would have to be directly on axis for me to consider running no tweeters.

Still would be interested to hear your impressions.

Yeah i've heard that about the hats and other more expensive 3"s, this is just a fun little thing that I can do in 10 mins so figured why not.

You should make some temp baffles or enclosures and point them in all different directions then measure the response on REW so we can see how much the direction of the speaker affects it performance

I plan on doing it but would
Just be easier if you did it for me. Lol

I really wanted to try the Ground zero's out but just not enough info out there on this side of the pond to justify the expense in my mind.

Yea definitely. There's enough info on HAT to justify spending a little extra on them.
