Hi

Can someone confirm my understanding regarding tire sizes.

I’m looking at a 2” to 2.5” lift.

The lift instruction state I can go with:

33 x 12.5 for a 2” lift or
35 x 12.5 for a 2.5” lift.

Using an online tire calculator I came out with the following tire sizes:

275-70-17 32.5 x 11 x 17 my existing tire size
305-70-16 33 x 12.5 2” lift
315-75-16 35 x 12.5 2.5” lift

Questions:

Over stock it looks like the 305-70-16 33 x 12.5 tire is almost the same height as the OEM setup but 30mm wider.

The 315-75-16 is 2.5 cm taller and 40mm wider.

I would need to go with 16” rims for both the 305 and 315 tires.

Make sense?

Thanks
