2014 Ram 1500. I installed the ready lift 4" kit.. anyone else have any experience with this kit? After installing I feel my truck wonders all over the place. Hard to drive it at this point.. my wife drove for less than 2 miles and pulled over and called it dangerous. I put new Lower control arms, sway bar bushings, tie rods, struts/springs and the kit came with with uppers and such. Rechecked to make sure everything is still tight and within torque spec. Had it aligned and had my rims balanced. Alignment came back with .01 of center after they were done which they said was good. Took it back this morning had the alignment checked again and it was spot on. They also checked all parts and said everything was good and not worn and tires were fine(less then 200 miles on tires)

I just get bad wondering, hard to stay in the lane, I feel 1 minute it pulls hard to the left, so hard it can take a decent off corner on the highway by itself, then 2 miles later it pulls back hard right. Does this on any road, any pavement. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this with the 4" lift. My 6" RC lifted 2014 drives perfect with no issues and both run same rims/tires combo. Kinda at a loss on what could be making it do this. Any help appreciated.

If you added different lower control arms and other components outside of what comes with the kit then you’ve likely thrown off the suspension geometry beyond what Readylift calculated for this kit.

I have the 4” Readylift SST kit on my truck only, new Fuel 20x9 +1 offset Fuel wheels with new Toyo 35 -12.5 AT3 tires and have no issues what so ever with drivability or wobbling etc.

I am willing to bet the additional parts you installed with the SST kit are giving you the issues you mentioned here.

So your suggesting that if anyone has this kit they can't replace any other factory part ever? The lower control arms I put on where factory replacements. So were the end links and sway bar bushings and tie rod ends. The LCA has the ball joint on it and mine needed replaced which is why I did it. Thought process was if I have the front apart, replace the worn other parts with factory replacements. No geometry was changed.

I was saying more so if OTHER lifting components were used, like altered lower control arms not to OEM spec. I’m not dumb lol … same dimension parts that don’t change the geometry should affect the ride or the kit. I assumed everyone would understand that, guess I was wrong.

Post some pictures of your suspension angles now and a picture of your last alignment sheet.

Mine did the same thing initially, but went away after my alignment. My caster and toe measurements were a couple degrees out of spec, so they brought them back into spec and now no issue.

Go to a different alignment shop. And post pictures of your work
