I have the Eibach Pro lift kit for my 2015 ram 1500. I’m going to have a local shop mount the springs to the front struts.

I bought a KYB mount kit. It’s only the upper mount. I’m looking for the part number for the lower spring mount. I’m having a hard time finding it online.

If you can find this part number, please post it.

My original front struts had 160,000 miles on them. I did not want to reuse anything. They’ve already been disposed of.

Thanks!

Part # 16? This is for a 2010, but can't see that much difference between them

I see two different part numbers under that #16 diagram. Not sure if they are interchangeable? I’m not sure if that year is still fourth generation?

Yes - 2009+ is 4th gen. different #'s are probably for different options, maybe air suspension or off-road package - no idea....

Those part numbers on that diagram are taking me directly to the entire strut assembly.

Which obviously won’t work.

Both times I've used bilstein 5100s on the front of my rams, I've had to reuse the lower mount, as I was told on both trucks, that part not available separately. One a 2011, one a 2013

I never pursued it further, wish I could be more helpful.

I know with bilstein 6112s it comes with the strut assembly

If I’m not mistaken, and if I remember correctly, the factory lower spring seats were welded onto the strut? Am I wrong?

The original factory struts had 160,000 miles on them. I did not want to reuse anything. I have the complete upper mount assembly.

I just need the part numbers that will support the lower part of the spring. Again for these Eibach pro lift springs (and struts). I’ve messaged Nick because I bought the stuff from him.

Somebody must make these lower spring seats/mounts that can be used with the Eibach pro struts

I’ve been looking online all morning and I’m hitting a brick wall!

As mentioned above, may not be available separately. That is a factory parts list, so it "should" be on there if you can get it.

See if this is what you need but they are for Bilsteins

I found these already this morning while searching online. They won’t work because they work with the Bilstein system

I’ve had this stuff in the garage for over a year and a half. I broke my left femur just over a year ago. Been a long recovery.

In retrospect, I regret buying these components. I should’ve just bought something preloaded and I’ll be finished by now.

This is holding up the entire assembly of the front end! Typically Nick takes several days to reply to a private message.

They should actually sell these damn lower spring components at Eibach. I just called them. They’re open for Monday through Friday.

And another problem with trying to find Mopar parts online:

I think it’s all the same supplier using different websites. They want people to buy Mopar struts. I found different part number numbers using AI. When I go to these websites, they say it doesn’t fit my truck. Because again they want to sell someone the complete Mopar strut.

I’m beyond disappointed right now

Yeah - I hear you, frustrating is an understatement.

I broke my femur when I was a freshman in HS - I know exactly what you're going through, s*cks big time, my sympathies. Even though it was over 50 years ago, I can still remember everything vividly.

My recommendation is salvage yard, even if you have to buy the entire strut, last used one I saw purchased was 50 to 75 per side. If you could go to a u pull it, probably cheaper still.

Thanks,

But still, there should be some sort of a lower spring seat/mount/ available to buy online. Mopar shouldn’t obfuscate, and try to corral people into buying their OEM struts.

I hope you find the part. I'm not hopeful

You're talking about a manufacturer that tells you to run 5w20 in hemis. :dogpile:

This is why I got 6112s , no need to reuse OEM garbage.
What viscosity oil are you running in the hemi?

5w30 is what I’ve been using since I got my truck on recommendations from @Burla and @DILLIGAF, lots of members confirm better oil pressure numbers using the 30 weight

As I understand it the 20 weight is for better mileage not for engine health.

I’ve been using the the advanced lubrication “high performance lubricants” 5w-30 for a few years.
