Just wondering if anyone is running a 4" Readylift, on a '19 Classic or similar.. I have one on order and now i'm hearing a lot of horror stories about them.. just wondering if anyone has had or has one with some good experiences. Maybe it was just the earlier model trucks or kits? pics would be great too! thanks all and Happy New Year!

The kit is a good budget kit however it gets installed improperly a lot. It’s made for appearance lifts not off roading. And when installed properly it’s not a bad kit if that’s all your budget will allow.

Save yourself the hassle, and go Zone

Or BDS (Zone with a better warranty). I was perfectly content with my truck being leveled at 2.8 on my Bils, but after seeing a few RAMs late last year with a 4" lift...then determining if it would still fit in my garage (and most parking structures) I started looking. For the last month I was considering ReadyLift SST until after I actually spoke to someone from ReadyLift about what exactly I could do with their lift. Pretty much flat lands...and that's it. Anything more might be considered "abuse" which voids any warranty. They make that abundantly clear when you talk to them and their disclaimer on the product itself. To paraphrase Quick_Shifter...the RL SST kit is for show...not for GO. I just pulled the trigger on the BDS 4" after speaking with their guys. It costs more, but huge difference in the components you get. I told the RL guy I already had Bils adjustable shocks up front and asked why did I need to place them back to a factory height setting only to add their 1.5" preload spacer on top of the spring when I could just set the Bils to 1.4. His response was they have only tested their products using OEM components so if I didn't set it down to the factory height setting they couldn't guarantee I would have a true 4" lift. Makes perfect sense to stack a spacer on an adjustable shock....NOT!

The BDS guys were very tech savy and when something breaks...they replace it...and they want to know how it broke to 1) have a cool story to add about their product and 2) so they can find ways to improve their product. I'm going to be swapping out my bils for a Fox setup all the way around.

In the end it comes down to what you are getting for your money, what you are actually going to be doing with your truck, and what you're comfortable spending. I would strongly encourage you to do extensive research so you can make an informed decision. Best of luck.
