Hey guys,
i am thinking about replacing my rear bumper on my 99 dodge ram 4x4
The one on there now is fairly bent up. Is there a nice bumper to replace it, something that looks cool? Don't really want a factory replacement. Pictures would help if you had any.

I am putting on 3rd gen bumpers. Gonna have to modify/make own brackets. Possibly be this winter or early spring when I get it done.

Also there are the usual step bumpers that are pretty much universal. If you weld or know a welder though the sky is the limit. But Google universal rear truck bumpers and you will gong a bunch. Also you could always go with a roll pan.

thank you for all of the replies and advise guys. I have thought about a roll pan, but the regulations here in MD state that the bumper needs to be a certain distance from the ground. Is there a way around that?

You could also check your local craigslist for custom bumpers, never know what you might find

Is your truck.lifted? If not a roll pan would be well within the limit.

MD law states max 20" height for frame and bumper, for passenger vehicles.

not really any way around them both.

Does MD count a pickup as a passenger vehicle? A lot of states don't.

A 3rd gen bumper would look pretty cool, and would be different.
