Rear bumper chrome delete

Was wondering if anybody has done a chrome delete on their rear bumper? Replacement, plasti dip, covers?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Painting chrome isn't hard, isn't easy either. Sand with 60 grit, prime with self etching primer and pant/clear

Does anyone know about the covers? My bumper is not damaged and I would hate to sand on the chrome. I wonder if spraying some of that tailight tint would stick to the chrome?

Plastidip will work. The peelabe "plastidip" style tint will haze over after a while if you are in a area that salt on the roads

Take a look at my build thread .. I plastidipped both bumpers, my grille and fender flares all black .... its been almost 3 months and it has held up great .... no peeling nothing ...

I am however going to be spraying them all with Raptor bedliner as soon as I get the chance ... try the plastidip my friend you wont regret it ... I used 4 cans at about $6 each ...
