Rear Camera Unavailable

Hello,
I have a 2016 Ram 2500, Cummins.

As I was backing up the backup camera flickered, pictured turned upside down and then a blue screen appeared.
Now everytime I put the truck into reverse or attempt to activate the backup camera from the uconnect system, I get a blue screen and a message that says, "Camera System Unavailable"

The cargo cam (mounted on the third brake light) still works fine.

I checked the connection in the tailgate and all seems well. I unplugged and replugged it in and no improvement.

Any idea on what else I should check before ordering a new camera?

Could be a bad camera but try to disconnect the battery or batteries (if there is more than one) to see if that resets the system.
