I been searching and can't find the correct bolt type for the rear seat bolts. I seen one youtube video a person commenting say m12. Is M12 correct?

I don't trust the net audio kit. Wood spacers for my seat just doesn't seem safe, but yes they would know the bolt size.
No don’t use wood!! You want to stack 6-8 washers for each bolt. That’s the correct and proper way to do it. So when your looking for the bolt length stack the washers on that bolt then add your old bolt length to it.

actually if want to get technical, a block of aluminum would be alot better. to each their own i just wouldnt want to look at a stack of washers sitting there

Just got my new bolts. Stock is M12 1.75 thread 50mm long grade 10.9. I bought M12 1.75 thread 75mm 12.9, which are approx. 1" longer and a higher grade.also got plated so they are less likely to corrodeLifted mine about a inch on my 2013 and seat still won't fold down. Front bolts actually screwed in(stock) but back ones won't quite hold. Nobody ever rides in back except my dogs on camping trips, but I still want longer screws to go as deep as stock, around a inch. My sub just touches the cloth under seat, so want it a little higher, then put grills over both subs.
