How hard is it to replace the rear speakers in a 03 reg cab? Mine already crack with my aftermarket stereo.

Couldn't tell ya bro I had mine Installed for free with a complete system package so not sure, seems like a lot of trouble though

Here's what I found from a quick search:


To get to the rear speakers, you have to pull the cap off the seat belt (cab mount) and unscrew it (torx bolt). Then the upper panel just pops out (held in by clips, just give it a good yank).

It looks like side of seat would totally cover the speaker. No?

Thanks Hemibabe! Looks pretty simple. The seat doesn't cover up the speaker, lots of room behind the seat.

Well I guess I won't change those speakers. A guy at work sold me a amp dirt cheap. Now im looking for subs. Found a pair of mtx box speaker, used for less then $100 can't decide if I want them or a bigger pair!
