I have a 2009 Ram 1500, and have access to a set of free Charger Scat Pack wheels from a family member (decent condition), the upgraded 20x9" if I'm not mistaken.

I'm having a hard time finding:

* A good adapter plate, as I researched and found they aren't a direct fit on the Ram

* What that would do to the offset and added stress if any on my old suspension for my high mileage decade old vehicle.

Thoughts?

Contact Bora ... They are the industry standard in wheel spacers, and should be able to answer all your questions and give you a quote

Agree with "bora" or more appropriately https://www.motorsport-tech.com/ which is the guy who makes the BORA brand spacers.

He'll make about any adapter that's technically possible and safe. Expect to pay about $400 for a set, if that's worth it to you.

Also be aware that wheels made for a sedan are likely not built to handle the vertical or side loads a truck wheel are built for, as payload and towing impart quite a lot of both. So you could be looking at a safety compromise, not from the offset but from the strength of the wheel itself.
