2017 echo diesel with 140,000. Bought new. The only maintenance has been regular oil changes at 10,000 and a brake booster repair and fluid change at 120,000. What other maintenance actually needs done?

Have you been changing the fuel filter every 20K miles?
Change the transmission fluid and pan should be done by 100K miles

This^^^. BUT...Don't sweat going over the mileage for the tranny, but DO get it done soonish. I say this because I waited til 166K miles to do the tranny fluid and sent the old fluid out to Blackstone Labs for analysis. The results were surprisingly good, but changing it was certainly necessary. Of course, the front/rear diffs and transfer case fluid should be done too.

OBTW, it's "ECO Diesel" not echo diesel...unless that engine is talking back to you of course. ;)

Fuel filter is done regularly, brake system was done at 120,000. The rest will need done soon I guess. Now does this all need done at the dealership or just any reputable mechanic shop?

If you run the oil changes out to the max, Cummins is 15K, the EcoDiesel is 10K. There is only one fuel filter on the EcoDiesel but two on the CTD, the intervals are about the same. Depending on which trans is behind the CTD and it's usage the interval is 30K, 60K or 120K, the EcoDiesel technically is "sealed for life" but is best done by 100K.

Definitely DO NOT go to a dealership for this work. Find a reputable transmission shop to do the tranny fluid...the rest can be done at any decent mechanic.
