In general how strong are relocation brackets? I have the performance accessory 3" bl on top of my suspension, and am just wondering if the relocation brackets will be able to hold up if I put a winch on my bumper and used it. If it isn't, I'm sure I'll be able to fab something up with some thicker metal and most likely end up welding them onto my frame, but if I don't have to that'd be great.

No way I would trust those relocation brackets. They're designed to hold the stock bumper weight, not a bumper that weights probably 3-4 times more. Then add a winch on top of it supporting the entire weight of the truck...asking for trouble. I'd make new sturdy brackets or have them made before I'd put a bumper on my truck.

Yea I ordered my bumpers today and I was able to find a fabbing shop where the guy could make custom brackets that would be able to easily support the bumpers/winch
