Remote Start - Heated Seat Temps

Does any one know what temperature the heated seats/steering wheel will turn on at? I know cooled seats are at 80 degrees, but the heated seats still didn't turn on at 50 degrees today, which is absurd of why they wouldn't.

And is there any way to change this? 65 degrees would be perfect for them to turn on at.

I also tried turning on the heated seats/steering wheel the night before and it didn't work, the only thing that stayed was the AC Temperature.

This truck will never see 30 degrees lol, maybe 35-40 once a year in the dead of the night. I am hoping there is a way to change it.

i believe seats and steering wheel turn on at 40°f and rear defrost/mirrors at 30°.

if you have the cooled seats i believe they turn on at 70-75°f when remote started.

PS there is NO way to change it.

This has to be the dumbest thing on the truck. A dealer can't even flash it for something different? Half of the country will rarely see 30/40 degrees. From my experience the cooled seats only go on at 80 degrees. If it is 70 degrees, I am convinced who ever designed this feature lives in Antarctica.

They should at least stay on if I turn them on before I turn the truck off.

Mine needs to be 5 Celsius for the heated seats to come on so that would be 41 Fahrenheit

Yeah - I would of called off of work lol.

Last night I tried turning off the Automatic Feature and manually turn them on then turn the truck off. Still didn't work

If you have the 8.4 display, it is an option as to what turns on when the remote start is activated.

Yep, 40F and below for heat, 80F and up for cooled. Those Temps are set from factory, no way to change it, even at the dealer.

So when it's 50 out and I turn the heated seats on, they are not really going on?

You can manually turn them on at any temp. Those temps only come into play when you remote start the truck.

The two problems I have:

1. Can't change temperature when the auto turns on.
2. Can't turn them on, turn off the truck, then turn it on and they are still on. My previous cars did this.

I understand #2 is probably physical and nothing can be done about that. But #1 is software and they could implement a change.

If I'm not mistaken, you can have the heated/cooled seats and the heated steering wheel turn on at every start of the truck.. I have. 2015 Ram Larmaie 1500 and I can do this..

The Auto On for heated and cooled seats/steering wheel only work below and above certain temps.... that is his complaint

"When remote start is activated, the heated steering
wheel, and driver heated seat features will automatically
turn on in cold weather. In warm weather, the driver
vented seat feature will automatically turn on when the
remote start is activated"

Cold weather = Below 40*
Warm weather = Above 80*
