OK, first off, I do not have the big EVIC display. I have a 2012 Express, and I had the factory remote start installed at the dealer. Now that it's cold I hate starting my truck at 4:30 AM and having the horn beep twice. Is there anyway to turn it off? I did a search and couldn't find an answer. If it has to be done at the dealer I'll give them a call this week.

Thanks

This should help you... worked for me. I don't have the OE remote start but the DBALL, but still the following procedure should work.

Horn Chirp
The horn chirp feature will be shipped from the assembly
plants activated. If desired this feature can be disabled by
using the following procedure:
1. Perform this operation while standing outside the
vehicle.
2. Press and hold the LOCK button on a programmed
(i.e. functional) key fob.
3. Continue to hold the LOCK button, wait at least 4
seconds, but no longer than 10 seconds, then press and hold
the PANIC button. Release both buttons at the same time.
4. To reactivate this feature, repeat the above steps.

Thanks! I'll be giving this a shot!

Well, I did the above method and it only turned the chirp off when I lock the doors. It still chips when I remote start it. Thanks for the help anyway.

If the dealer can't help me I think I'll just disconnect the horn for the wintertime. I'll have to look at it tomorrow to see how it's done. I hope it's just a plug, can't imagine it would throw a CEL code or anything.

Well screw it, I just unplugged the horns. I'll plug them back in once winter is over.
