How hard is remote start to install on our trucks?
I remember with my ford a bunch of **** had to be bypassed and what not.

I had one installed with alarm for bout 300, if I remember there was one key bypass thing extra that we needed that other cars didn't but it was like 80 bucks. Other them that was g2g.

There's no Sentry system in a 2000 era truck... 2006 is when that BS started IIRC.

Should just be normal setup for his year

It was fairly easy on my 96. I spent ALOT of time checking wires to make sure I had the right ones.

Really depends on YOU. If you don't know what you are doing, it can hurt.
There are some relays you may have to put in. Mainly just make sure you have the right wire.

The install is very standard with the exception of the door locks. They are 5 wire and require 2 relays or a 451m from dei to do.

If you do not need door locks it is very easy.
