I'm trying to remove bedsides from the box without destroying them. They are solid and rust free but do need some work and if I hadn't already purchased composite bedsides before I got the bed, I would have just fixed these. I'm trying to get them off the box but they must be glued along the top.

Wondering who has seen what that looks like in there and if I make a cable saw out of some bicycle brake cable, if you think I can saw through it if I have two people sawing sort of lumberjack style, one in the bed and another underneath.

All of the spotwelds have been drilled and it is otherwise loose. In all of the videos I've found so far they get cut off and then skip over the part separating the top rail from the box.

I was NOT able to get these off without cutting them off. I really struggled with that decision. Tried cable, tried band saw blades but it just wasn't working and I'm not getting any younger.

So check out the classified section if you need some donor patch panels and are in the Cincinnati area.
