The Uconnect system in my 1500 Classic was crashing and rebooting sporadically. It worked ok after the reboot but it was a PITA. The truck is under warranty so I took it to my dealer who replaced the headunit(?) without hesitation. I picked up the truck and now the highs are painful! I've got the bass mid-high on the eq and the mid range dead center and the treble all the way down and still gives me a headache after 10 min in the truck. I know folks like to mod the stock system but I've been more than pleased with my two other 4th Gen's. I switched out the stock dash and front door speakers with aftermarket right after purchasing the truck and was happy as can be with the sound for 12 months. I took it back to the dealer this morning and I'm sure you can bet what their response was.
Does anyone have an idea what the heck may have happened? At this rate I'll just learn to do without the radio.
Thanks

Check for an update for your radio. A few years ago uconnect firmware updates was removing a lot of highs and adding a lot of bass. The radio could have have been NOS with older firmware, and newer firmware could even out the sound.
