Replacing shift knob

Hello everyone. I just bought my first Dodge and this is my first forum post. I am wanting to replace the stock shift knob on my 09 1500.I removed the old one to see that it wasn't threaded. The chrome plated collar at the bottom seems to be what holds it in place. How do put an aftermarket one on?

I am interested in changing my shift knob soon also. Any ideas on where we could find some cool looking shift knobs?

Or billet something. Type billet shift dodge into Google. You'll know them when you see them

Aftermarket are set screws. At least mine is

My old one had a set screw and it was threaded on. BT has some cool stuff. I just went generic and got one from auto zone that looked like a s&w pistol.
