Replacing timing chain, what all should I replace while I'm at it?

My work season is over, so I am replacing my truck's timing chain. I ordered gaskets, a timing chain and sprockets, and a water pump. Is there anything else y'all would recommend replacing while I have the timing cover off? Thanks

Not familiar with your engine's design (or most engines for that matter) but isn't
there some type of chain tension design? Spring loaded idler? Chain guides under tension? Something to maintain even tension against any slack?

Whatever is in there will also likely need to be replaced. Just spit-balling here.

@David Vandercook , I've done some looking around after a Google search: pics, text, even youtube videos - I'm not seeing anything that looks like it is designed to put tension on the chain.

It seems there are no shortage of kits for the job you are about to do and the vast majority appear to consist of the chain and both pulleys. I'm guessing a gasket is also included but not shown?

If it injected and you have future plans for a carb and mech fuel pump.... now is the time to install the fuel pump eccentric on the cam.
