@Ram1500_RT you can see the bottom hole, which was the original mounting hole,i just redrilled the hole farther up,and got rid of the relocation bracket, which i hated,as it always required maintence in regards to keeping it tight

I got lots of underside pics of my slotcar trackIf Rick gets anymore demands for photos of his underside he will have no choice but to open an OnlyRams account![]()

These days toy cars are all i'm racing

It took me a year and about a 1,000 hours to build it 16 years ago Michael.I didn't use it for about a dozen years as i got out of the hobby after i won the championship 3 years in a row in our local group.A few guys who are just getting into the hobby found out i had a routed track in my basement, and they talked me into cleaning it off and firing it back up,i'd forgot how much fun the little cars can be,lol. I even hunted up the old group of guys i'd raced with for 30 years, and started going back out to the local races,i missed alot of the season as i didn't track them down till shortly after Christmas, but still managed to make my way up to 4th overall, out of 11 guys, with a car thats 14 years old and is old school technology, lol.Nothing like more pics of tidy undersides.
.
The cars now-a-days are approaching $500 Canuck to build, when i got out of the hobby they were just a bit over $200 to build.
No, I'm very serious.Lil tongue in cheek there. Roflmao
HaHa, I remember when I was a kid slot cars tracks were all the rage with places all over you could go and race your slot cars, my dad would take me, but they weren't anything that advanced back then. Who DIDN"T have a slot car track at home back then? lolIt took me a year and about a 1,000 hours to build it 16 years ago Michael.I didn't use it for about a dozen years as i got out of the hobby after i won the championship 3 years in a row in our local group.A few guys who are just getting into the hobby found out i had a routed track in my basement, and they talked me into cleaning it off and firing it back up,i'd forgot how much fun the little cars can be,lol. My good car will pick up a ballpeen hammer, the cars the guys are running now will damn near pick up a sledge hammer
I was running one of my beater practice cars for a bit tonight, but the good cars will run high 1 sec laptimes,if you're on the ball and having a good night. My track is 65 ft long
Gotta have a basement or a heck of a big extra room to do things like that. We had lil tracks when I was a kid. My Dad had HO size train stuff that was always put up unda the XMAS tree. I have no clue where all that stuff is. For all I know, it is still in the attic of "Mom's" house, which was sold when she died in 2007.I got lots of underside pics of my slotcar trackThese days toy cars are all i'm racing

@Wild one: You are correct, most folks cannot post any pics in PM's. Majority of houses in Canada have basements Bird.Only a 1/3 of my basement is finished, and i have the track sitting in the unfinished part of the basementGotta have a basement or a heck of a big extra room to do things like that. Many moons ago as kid lived in NJ and say bout 1/2 had basements. But we were so close to ocean, water tables be real high. Them basements spent a lot of time wet and needing sump pumps. Mom's house straight 3 bed, 1 bath, LR, kitchen, slab, no basement, 1/4 acre lot.
chemical deployment months.....loved that!!Whenever I see your underside, the truck that is, I want to get a winter beater and park my Warlock during the chemical deployment months.
