Have you guys ever taken part in one of the SRT talks on some of the other forums? One of their first comments and rules is they will NOT discuss future plans or projects, don't know why emailing them directly would expect a different answer.

There won't be a SRT model for the 4th gen Rams. 2015 will most likely be the last model year for the 4th gens so it wouldn't make any sense for them to come out with one now. Lets hope we see a SRT model in the new 5th gen Rams in 2016.

thats actually not true. the 4th gens are not finished after 2015 from what I've been hearing. I heard from someone on the inside that fiat has decided to extend the run of the 4th gen due to the money they have in the design and the newest updates. you may see engine updates and maybe suspension or something of those kinds but don't expect to see the 5th gen anytime soon.

*Start an online petition to show them the market (Enthusiast) interest and turn it into your local dealer's regional rep. Get the rep's business card and ask for a timely follow-up response.

I disagree. What better way to generate a huge demand/market draw than a production run that is most definitely not going to last long if they transition into 5th Gens in '15/16? Then again regional dealer demand and the resulting mark-up will be phenomenally through the roof.

With Ford having an all new truck for 2015 and GM's all new trucks I seriously doubt Ram will continue selling the current truck for years to come like you say. Ram will have to redesign their trucks to stay competitive.

I had dinner with Ralph at the Rolex 24. No new SRT Ram in the plans as of now.

Unless the aluminum Ford sucks. Then Ram will just have to make enough trucks to sell.

I agree but that doesn't mean next year or the year after as their current truck s still better than gm's new truck and the all aluminum F150 coming next year.. well. we will just have to see about that. Fords my gig or whatever its called is just soso and the new interior which I saw at the auto show doesn't impress me compared to the 13+ Rams. I'm not saying you will not see power increases from Ram in the next year or so but I would be very surprised if you see a complete redesign by 2016. Id say closer to 2018.

;) Considering what I've seen and experienced with the current gen of Fords versus how nice the Rams are now I'd say at the end of the day I'd believe S2kiHemi's comment.

Basically that Mr. Marchionne may have some influence to the logic "Non fissare ciò che non è rotto.". :D
