Ram 2500 Limited 11 months since bought has the passenger running board acting up. It will at random deploy halfway out then retract, also if fully deployed and you close the door it will retract half way and then deploy and stay out. Info panel gives me "running board obstruction" message?
I have checked and there is no visible obstruction occurring. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order, if they a OEM boards. If it was happening when closing, I'd guess there was interference/binding in the hinges. But you say it's deploying while you drive, there must be a sensor issue.

Is there a way to reset the sensors? Is there such a thing?

Don’t know about the OEM power boards, but on the AMP brand, there is a controller box. I had some trouble with mine not retracting all the way. Called AMP, said to replace the controller. Joy!
You should still have warranty, so in your case, let the dealer figure it out.
Kinda curious myself if they have a separate controller, or the BCM is somehow the “controller”.
