Rhino back bone help.

Hello there.

I am currently am building my 03 3500 into am overlander and I am really interested in getting a rhino roof rack.

So the question is, has anyone put the Rhino Rack Backbone mounts on a 3rd gen?

They are for the 4th gen, but it look like they can be improvised on.

I'm weary of installing something like that on the roof. I was looking into a sport bar that had a rack extended over the roof, sort of how a contractors ladder rack does. You get the space without the installation. Just food for thought.

aye, i was thinking about my self, i still have to mod it on since the 3rd gens dont come with sport bars etc
