rim size on the spare...20"?

My 2016 in particular....is the spare a 20" rim or a 17 with a taller tire? I have a 4x4. I know I can go look, but thought I'd ask while I am at lunch.

My Lonestar came with a 17 spare rim with a temp tire.. I ordered a 20x8 on eBay and put a 285/55r20 AT Tire on there

It should be a 17” and a tire. Not sure why everybody says a “temp” tire. It’s an actual tire lol. It will handle a lid that truck is rated for. Temp tire is a damn doughnut haha

My 18 Outdoorsman 1500 is on 17" steel rim and it says 'temporary' in big letters.

A stock 20" wheel will fit up under there if you take the clad cover off........can't remember the max diameter on the tire though.

Mine are all stock 275/60/20s. I am thinking about the same tire as a spare [Wrangler HPs on the truck].

I assumed the same thing until I actually looked at the spare. I have stock 20x8’s with 275/60/20 and the spare is a 17” temp tire. This is on a 19 classic express.

You'll have to look. Most are a 17" with a temporary tire, but some like mine are a 20" steel rim with a 275/60-20 sra just like the other 4 tires it came with.

A matching tire came as a spare on a steel rim on my Outdoorsman. I believe it was part of the Outdoorsman option package. It's probably dependant on the trucks trim level and/or package option(s).

Mine doesn't show on the window sticker but shows on my build sheet "20" Full Size Steel Spare Wheel" on my 17 longhorn.

My 2013 4x4 has 20" wheels, but a 17" temp spare. I found a used 20" steel wheel, and a 20" tire to replace the "temporary" spare. It fits just fine under the truck. A stock chrome clad wheel will not work for the spare since the center hole is not big enough for the spare tire holder to fit through. Mopar is not the only company that does this. The GM trucks with 20" wheels also have the 17" spare.
