For my summer set up I roll on the stock Warlock 20x9 rims and have LT295/65R20 (equivalent to 35's) Micheline Defender LTX M/S tires and the ride couldn't be smoother.

Soaks up bumps like a champ, with super stable and confident handling, too.

As others have said, buying 22's just to try and save will cost you more in the long run.

A nice 20" rim with a nice tire will net you the ride quality, stance, and appearance you're wanting.

As far as I'm concerned there is absolutly no reason for 20 or 22 inch rims with low profile tires on a truck. Let's go back to reasonable and affordable tires the old 235/85-16 was a great tire size for pickups, and to go back even further the older 7.50-15 or 16 was a good tire for traction and a decent ride. Those 20-22's with a damned rubber band on them belong on ghetto blasters with fart cans on them.
