I want to buy and install Roof lights. Should i do Smoked or regular? Any tips on install. I'm new to wiring lights.

I had clear cab lights on my Red Silver Gen II, I thought it looked mighty fine.
Also had clear ones on my '00 Ram, here's the during install picture, showing the holes in the roof.
I used a 3/4" Sheetmetal punch / sheer deal my friend had instead of a hole saw, same end result.
