So either talk me into or out of this idea I saw and built upon.

I currently have a crappy spray vinyl on the roof of my truck... Its been there since before they had clearcoat glossifiers of dip coat paints. Well it needs to be redone.

Building off of something I saw on another feed, I'm thinking of putting a American flag on my roof but not one that is bold and stands out and is all in your face, but more so along the lines of using a black satin vinyl wrap and printing a gloss or just slightly glossier flag in black over it so it kinda works as a ghosted images, subtle but still there..

thoughts? Dumb or cool idea. Buddy of mine does signs and his vinyl sub contractor could do it for a couple hundo he thinks.... The vinyl we'd want to use is the expensive part.

Sounds good to me, pictures when done :)

Often thought of painting the roof on mine black or doing a carbon fiber, flag like that should be cool.

I'm not a huge fan of carbon fiber but that too is a good idea to mix a satin flag with the carbon vinyl wrap.

Who knows if I can get a decent price on these and test fir on my truck, maybe I'll sell them unless its stupid expensive.... I don't think the few that would do this would spend more that $150 for a DIY install kit
