Well I found one! Picked her up tonight, its a '72 chevy C20 3/4 ton. I am in love. Got it for 1600. I'll post pics and more info tomorrow.

Here it is, its got a 350 small block, sm465 4 speed, the rear axle is out of a 93 1 ton chevy and has 4:10 gears
The odometee reads 15,173 and the guy claims its only 115,000 but who knows could be 915,000 but I believe him he seemed pretty legit.

looks great man, i had a truck just like that a couple years ago. except lifted...lol. is it a corporate 14 bolt out back??? if so, damn good axle, i think it should be. i'm about 90% sure it is. a pic could let me tell you for sure...14 bolts are equivalent to a dana 70. better designed too. you will love that truck, and it is geared low enough that it will climb up a brick wall at idle. is it 4x4? if its 2x4, it has a unique rear suspension, that is arguable one of the best....

$900 for that ram wouldnt be bad if nothing needs fixed. Resale will get you about the same back in the future.
