Satin Gray/Silver InteriorPaint?

Does anyone know of a matching spray paint for the satin gray/silver interior trim pieces? I picked up a used center console top trim panel to replace the one on my center console (which I bought used) because it has some gouges, knicks and scrapes in the plastic and it drives me nuts.

The used one I just got today isn’t much better, it has scratches all over it. As a matter of fact, there isn’t a spot on it that isn’t scratched. It’s not showing as well in the photos due to the angle & lighting but it looks pretty bad in person.

If I can’t find a matching paint then I’m going to ship this thing back to the guy.

At least the gouges in mine were touched up so they kind of blend in. I bought the console used and have been wanting to replace this piece ever since I installed it.

Why not color match to your exterior?

Check out plastic dip. They have a grey silver. No idea if it will match OEM color.

A good body supply place can match that and put it in an aerosol can for you. Find your local place and bring the part with you.

How hard to get/expensive is this piece? Doesnt seem worth all the trouble to me. Sand it down and wrap it!

It’s $115 new. I like the satin gray/silver on those pieces.

Why not color match to your exterior?

My exterior is px8 gloss black. If I had the center console trim painted to match the exterior, I’d have to do the instrument panel also... and the steering wheel bezel. (They’re all satin gray/silver) I think that might be too much black, but I also kind of like the idea the more I think about it. Hmmmm...

I don’t trust myself to paint that stuff either. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and would probably have a pro do it for me because any runs or imperfections would drive me nuts. Especially with gloss black.
