It doesn't have a clear coat on it does it? If it doesn't. Don't wax it with any sort of polishing wax or really at all. Don't put any sort of cleaners on it. Basically just soap and water. If you take it through a car wash the soaps will eventually lighten the paint as it soaks in the chemicals, to where it looks white/grey. So I would suggest not.

I'm not entirely sure. There's different levels of satin, and even if. The clear coat is going to be very thin to get you that flatter look. So you have to be careful whatcha put on it.

Depends on how it's done
Typically it's single stage enamel, it can be polished even waxed, it may get a little bit of gloss to it and may lighten the color
Usually it's is just washed
There are companies that make a special satin clear for two stage paint that allows regular maintenance

Cody I was hoping you'd chime in. I'm referring to the jd blitz black in specific.

3m makes a satin clear film that your can wrap any color in. And it looks awesome and protects you paint and is easy maintenance. That what Im going to do to my truck.

If you go the JD blitz black route it's a basic single stage enamel
It wont hurt to wet sand and polish it

It may make it more of a semi-gloss but it will still look BA

You can wash, and wax it....with the proper items. I'm not aware of anything available from Adams. However, The Chemical Guys offers a spray detailer Also Doctor Beasley's offers a full line of products. Matte Car Care Products Last suggestion, go to your local Harley shop and ask them for satin paint products.
