How old is the truck? Is it scratch, or a split/crack ?
If it's only a few weeks old you might want to take it back to the dealer and bring it to their attention to see if they will do anything for you. If they won't then you're no worse off.its a 2019 but I just bought it a few weeks ago and didn’t notice the scratch at the dealership. It’s a scratch. And the truck is my second vehicle. I do use it for housework but it’s my nice vehicle for going out also, I drive a Honda Civic for a commuter car
It's definitely worth a try. Maybe try to negotiate some kind of split with them on the cost. I was able to convince a dealership to pay half the cost of replacing the transmission on a used truck I bought once. Trans went out about 2 weeks after I bought it and factory power train warranty had expired. If it's only a few weeks old you might want to take it back to the dealer and bring it to their attention to see if they will do anything for you.
