Scratched door glass

I know this is a common issue on 3rd gens. I’ve had mine since new in 05. The glass didn’t start getting scratched till I started parking outside, but what have you guys done with the scratched door glass that’s these 3rd gens are prone to get?

Any successfully polish them? Seen some glass for sale for not too bad, but I don’t know how good the quality is.

My 3rd gen never scratched and was outside for the entire 15 years I had it. Not sure polishing will do much, probably just replace with new. But either something is in the guide brushes or stuck inside the door, find out what foreign debris is in there or what part of the guides is damaged and replace.

Probably has to do with my environment. I’m in Arizona, I don’t see a lot of 3rd gen on the road anymore, but when I do, they almost always have scratch class.
