hey guys, yesterday morning i had this come on. at the end of my driveway i take a left and go down a decent hill for about 250 feet. abiut halfway down this light came on. followed by the abs and yractuon control light staying on. light was on again for ride home from work last night. when i got home i tried to out it in 4wd (both lock and auto) buy just blinked. wouldnt go in. i read on here to check yo see that fuses were pushed in. did that, restarted the truck and lights still were on. but 4wd would engage. this am lights still on and 4wd worked as well.

im seeing people say they replaced wheel speed sensors and it fixed it. but a lot of them also had the service 4wd light on along with the abs and traction control. i dont have that light on. abs sensor? bad to drive with this going on?

I had the same issue with my 2 wheel drive. After scanning, it turned out to be the steering wheel position sensor. Had it re-aligned and that took care of the problem.

update with this....i stopped by my mechanic and he did a quick look. need front drivers side wheel bearing . he said he could see it was cracked (or something eas cracked) throwing off the sensor. at low speed in my driveway 4wd would work. then when i get going it disables it. found that out this morning with 4 inches of snow on the ground. made for an interesting drive in. i drive up and over a mountain and for being 35x12.5, the duratracs are pretty dang good in the snow. ill confirm this was the fix once its done later today or tomorrow incase anyone runs into the same issue.

I have a 2014 Laramie w/6.7 cummins and 4wd. Same issue here, started the day i left the dealership for front end service and alignment. Intermittently comes and goes, and I don’t drive the truck much, especially in winter. So several months later I finally got it back to dealership. And they say i have 2 bad speed sensors. Replaced both, $572 later I’m back on the road. Next night i go to drive it for the first time and the light is back on. No 4wd or cruise control when this happens. To be continued.....

Hi Iabohntr,
We’re sorry to hear about this. We certainly understand how frustrating this may be. Please send us a private message if you need to return to the dealer so we can have this documented and provide you with additional assistance while your dealer works on a diagnosis.
