Hi all. Here's the situation: I had the struts, tie rods and upper/lower control arms replaced recently on my 2019 Ram 5.7 Hemi 4WD 85k. During the process the one of the wires going into the wire harness for the ABS module was snagged and yanked out of the harness. BAM! Dash lit up with ABS error, stability control and disabled the 4WD. As expected. Ok.. no biggie. Ordered a new wire harness for the ABS module and replaced it. Cleared all the codes out and gave it a go. Still lit up like a Christmas tree. Hard reset the battery. Still lit up. Double checked the wiring harness and wires for any misconnections... all good. Cleared it again... Still lit up. What should I be looking for at this point? Dealership wants $300 just to hook it up to the code reader and another $180 to diagnose the issue. Want to touch all the bases first before we get hosed by the Dealership.

I’d get a good OBD code reader and have a look at the codes it’s throwing myself first. (AlphaOBD and an MX interface is good)

You have to get a cable adapter to get around the Ram Security Gateway to use a reader on your 2019.

Could be internal damage (physical and/or electrical) to the ABS module connector when the cable was ripped out. God only knows what kind of stress was placed on the involved components when the cable got yanked out abruptly. I assume the battery was still connected?

Good luck!
