The concrete screeching is what I'd want to avoid but wasn't sure which composite pair would be a better choice. I've seen several pics of the composite ramps buckling or folding under use, gives me some concern with them but I like them for their weight and easier to move around.
I was thinking about going with these, they are rated for 10K, not 16K.

Take a tip from an old guy.. This is a slap-your-forehead moment.
Cut two lengths of rope long enough to go from the front to back of your vehicle. Loop one end of each rope through the ramps. Lay the ropes out so you will drive over them when approaching the ramps. As the front wheels start up te ramps, the rear wheels will be on the ropes keeping the ramps from sliding!!! Works in reverse too. OK... Slap your foreheads now.

Reviews for most all of these types of composite ramps can be a bit sketchy looking, even the Rhino's. While I did order the Rhino's, there appears to be a shipping delay (go figure). No EDD yet.

Like others have said, I cut up some 2 x 8 and screwed them together.

No chance of them ever failing, they don't slip, and they are inexpensive enough to make. I put a strip of 1 x 2 on the end to make sure I don't drive off em..
