Hello, I posted about having a code on my 06 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab. It has a 5.7 hemi and it is 2x4. The code was P0700 another code was thrown too but can't remember the numbers but I do remember behind it it said shift solenoid. I have dropped the transmission pan and ordering the part I need and new filters for it. I was wondering how much trans. Fluid I need to put back into the truck for just a pan drop. Not really sure and I have looked it up and getting different numbers. It has the RFE 452 transmission in it. I forgot to ask will it matter if the shift solenoid say it for a 4x4? Found what I need on ebay and I have looked at the description and it gives the models and yrs it will fit but it all says 4x4.

RFE yes, 452 no, that's just a casting number on the case. You have the 545RFE. How much fluid will depend on what pan you have. These numbers are based on stock 4x2 or 4x4 pans.
