has anyone converted knob shifter to a center console shifter? I have a 2019 1500 express that I am customizing. I put a center console shifter in it and trying to find out how to convert it.

Yea, it has been done. It isn't easy, and to the best of my knowledge, you'll need to send your TCM to someone like Russel @ Sound German Automotive and have him program it to work with the Charger/Challenger/Durango floor shifter.

But, having a Durango R/T with this shifter, I can say from experience that it is pretty badass!

My truck has the 65RFE 6 speed. I kinda hope it ***** the bed someday, so I can justify swapping in a 8 speed and the Charger shifter.

All you should have to do is properly adapt the harness for the car shifter, then use AOBD to go in and change your shifter type.

You could add paddle shifters instead, easier to do then swapping the shifter.

Do you have a write up on the process with some part numbers?
@Brandon-w builds a kit to install paddle shifters, talk to him and see if he has enough parts on hand to build another kit for you. I'm not gonna step on his toes,as the original guy that built mine 11 years ago,got p!s$ed off because everybody wanted him to tell them how to install paddles in the 8 speed trucks, and didn't want to buy his kit,and quit building them, then a few years later Brandon figured out how to install them, and was building the kit ,and i'm not gonna pee him off by telling you how it's done,he's also a good friend ;)

You were able to do this? I have an extra set of paddle shifters for my 2023 Charger Scat Pack. I know there's the spot on the back of the steering wheel, I've seen a picture of it.

Mercedes paddles from an AMG are the ones to use.Daimler owned Chrysler when the steering wheels were redesigned and the AMG paddles fit the best into the back of the trucks steering wheels,at least on the 4th Gen trucks they do,not sure about a 5th Gen truck.
