the shocks im looking at getting are for a truck with a 5" front lift, the measurements are 14" collapsed to 22"extended, however my current shocks in the front are sitting maxed out at around 17 or 18 so my question is will these shocks work even tho it says for a 5 inch lift???

also same question for the rear the shocks are for a 4"rear lift, the measurements are 18" collapsed and 30 inchs extended, same thing my current shocks are sitting maxed at 22" same question as above will these work???

or should i just find some new shocks?

They should work. The difference between your current shocks at 17" and the new shocks at 22" is 5".

The current shocks, with a 5" lift, won't allow for much suspension travel.

I'd get new ones.
