I only put about 4,000 miles on my truck a year I use Valvoline Full Synthetic 5W30 with a bottle of Lubegard Bio Tech and a Mopar Filter ,if the truck sits more 3 days I get a lifter rattle no more than about 3 seconds
2017 Ram 1500 4WD and a HEMI

I had 3 secs of something similar. I changed to PUP 5W30 from PUP 5W20 and it disappeared. I always ran lubegard with both oils.

I also live in FL and that's why I chose 5w30.

Just on a update I decided to try Amsoil 5w30 and a normal Wix Filter to see if it would help with the lifter noise after it sits for 4 to 5 days and sometimes 7 days I am happy to report that even the 0 degree days we have had I haven’t head a lifter noise or tick out of the engine
now when I say I don’t drive it a lot I have owned the truck going on 4 years and it just turned 40K miles I bought it with 29K on it it’s a 2017 Ram Crew Cab so in the 4 years I have owned it I have only put 11K on it
it’s great being retired
