My sliding rear window doesn’t leak, it just loves to stick when it gets hot, and whines like the glass needs lubrication. Oh well.

Try some dry lube spray, that's what I'm going to try soon....

Thanks[emoji106]

I was thinking about this too, how do change the antenna? Please tell me you don't have to drop the headliner........

Want your BW44-44 to fully lock? Contact @Brandon-w for a locking switch

Don’t wanna know. Would it be cool to ditch the fender antenna for a shark fin? yes. is it worth it for the same outcome? no.

Will the cleaning recommendations work on a RC hand-slider window too? I heard water pour from the track today when I pulled out of my parking spot at work, and found this thread.
It's been raining pretty hard these past few days on the East Coast.

I would imagine it's the same sort of setup just without the motor so there should be some drain holes that can be cleared out...

Hey @Hemi395 thanks for the write up. I just followed @Burla guide for the third brake light and still have leaks. My leak looks just like yours but it's under the sliding window. I cleaned out the passenger side drains and I'm about to do the drivers side. Did you remove this trim piece to get a good look at the drivers side? The piece my hand is on in the photo. 20201114_112217.jpg

I used a seafoam straw to help show the passenger side drains, it took me a while to find them. Didnt realize that clip for the window cable had to be removed.

Did you find the drains behind the middle seat seatbelt? 20201114_112239.jpg
They're under the clip in this general area. Mine were real clogged here with some lube I used on the window a year ago.

I don't know if can either lol, it looks glued on there. Just seems to be in the way. I'll try again after lunch and see what I can do.

Yes right behind the seat belt. I'll stick the straw in there and take some pics later.

@Bigpaul13 I also bought this specifically for cleaning these drains out. Not flexible like a WD40 straw but you can really put some serious PSI thru it

That probably works better than sticking the seafoam hose into the air nozzle I have but it works. Honestly I think getting the hose into the drain cleared whatever was there, I had no dirt come out the drains on the outside. I had two of the 8 drain holes clogged with some lube. There are 4 sets of two drain holes. Pics to follow. That cover I was pointing to is the lead to the defroster on the sliding window. The cover trim I pointed to is double sided taped on and you never to be pretty careful removing it. You cannot get a good look at the driver side with it on. Maybe you don't have the defroster and thats why you didn't mention it.

Driver side middle drain. I took the cable off the sliding window, might need to to get to it. Ended up doing that to look at the window seal.

Passenger side middle.

So after all of that, I think the seal on the bottom of the sliding window is to blame. My leak would trickle in near the middle seat seatbelt. Figured drains were clogged. It's bad under full pressure, they might keep up under regular rain but since I saw the leak, I want it fixed.

With the cables off the window I was sliding it by hand and realized some of the double sided tape holding it gave out. Going to buy some now and see if it fixes the leak issue. Hope these pics help someone.

Also the driver side is a pain with the defroster, I would try the passenger side first and other possible leak areas. My seats are out and so is a lot of the trim so it wasn't terrible but I wouldn't do it again.
