sluggish

i had use of a 14 crew 1500 w/5.7 motor and found the truck to be a little sluggish in city driving and if you ran about 65 on the highway(this truck was new under 5000 mi) I now have a 15 2500 w/6.4 motor and it only has 350 miles and does the same thing,is this normal or have to do with eco mode?

I have a 2014 2500 with the 6.4 and I'm not experiencing what I'd call sluggishness. It goes like a rocketship when I put my foot into it.

In town, it sometimes kicks in and out of MDS but it's still really quick when I want to go.

Maybe give it a few more miles and see if it gets any better. I've got around 2500mi on mine so far

Drive in tow haul mode, if you like the shift points I'm pretty sure you can get a tune to change them, I know you can on earlier years probably the same for you. Tow/Haul also disables mds. I drive in TH all the time, only when you are going 65plus do you need to disengage it.

You don't have issues with high RPMs in TH running at 65mph?

Ill give the tow/haul mode a try,it does go well when you step on it ,must be the mds? It s9eems to do it when eco is showing

Sounds like you just need a heavier foot.

2500 rpm's at 65 in T/H with my 3.55's, no big deal but you will be using up gas more if you leave TH at 65.
